I'm using Air Sharing (Lite?) now. Question before I upgrade to Pro: can I upload documents in my Air Sharing Pro map to an FTP server? My workflow would be this: I want to upload a file to my iPhone with the Air Sharing Pro Bonjour Web Server. Then I want to send that file to a FTP server, using my iPhones very fast HSUPA connection. Is that possible?

When viewing PDFs in ASP I notice that they all appear very pixelated. If I then email the document to myself and open in Mail app it looks fine. So it appears that the file is ok, just a problem with the way it is displayed.

With the resolution on the iPhone 4 I can normally read text even when viewing a whole page on screen, however in ASP I really have to zoom in because the pixelating makes it illegible. Also, it only seems to happen with PDFs, word docs seem to come out fine.

Any help would be much appreciated.

My WiFi and LAN is provided by an Airport extreme router with the Epson 2200 printer plugged into the usb port of the router. All mac and windows computers on the network can use the printer. Air Sharing Pro searches but never finds the printer. Is this doable?

I've recently moved on Air Sharing Pro and it seems to be a great software. But I've heard about an unzipping function and I can't find it. Could somebody give me a key for my little problem ?

When I go into "Select a Printer", I can see my printer and its status (idle/active/number of jobs). But the printer's name is greyed out and although I can select it and "print" a document, nothing happens.

Am I missing something?

I was using Air Sharing Pro at the weekend to watch some a video and while the video was playing I pressed the sleep button on my iPhone 4. Later I pressed the button again to wake it up and the video started playing back but the passcode lock also came up while the video was playing. I would have expected the playback not to have restarted until I entered the passcode and for the screen to have been blank.

First, I like Air Sharing. It's the only App I've bought on my Iphone.
But, I was enjoy to use it in spite of Itunes for Musing playing. If I could hear music form my folders I can't create playlist from those folders. In spite, I've seen "New in Air Sharing 2.2- Music Player: all new Playlist interface", I haven't found any playlist interface allowing to create playlist. I have tried to generate m3u file from VLC, html file without any result.

Is there a way I have not used to create playlist form Air Sharing ? If creating playlist doesn't exist, It will be great to allow this possibility. For my part, I don't want to use Itunes to Sync my music because I don't want my music on my computer. I save it on an external harddrive and use it on my Air sharing folder, much quicker for the sync of the Apps and all the Stuff I used on my Iphone.

My iPhone 3Gs with iOS4 start to compress a movie with Air Sharing Pro and suddenly turned off. And it does not turn on anymore!!!! What the hell is going on??? I need my telephone working and that app crash all the OS ??
It is a 16Gb iPhone, with 12Gb free disk space. I was compressing a 5 minute iPhone video, filmed direct from iPhone camera. The app was compressing the video with the option "Add from photo" option.

What I do now??? Need urgent help to turn on the telephone again.

What about multiple file downloads? Kinda sucks just sitting there looking at a progress bar and a Cancel button when downloading a file, and that's all you're able to do. Why not have a separate screen to show the progress of downloads?

I have a client who recently purchased 250 iPod Touch devices with the intent of distributing them to their sales teams, which travel across the country and often are in areas where they do not have wireless access. They want to be able to put PDFs, videos, and images on these devices for reference material for these teams.

The Air Sharing Pro app seems to be close to an ideal solution, but I do have one question. With this app is it possible to pull down local copies of files (or entire directories of files) for completely offline viewing?

I am hoping to find this out as soon as possible as my client would like to proceed on this and get everything up and running by August 1st.

First, great product. I've recommended it to several friends.

I've been playing around with the new iOS4 this morning, and saw that AirSharing Pro now shows up in the "App" panel of iTunes, allowing files to be copied using iTunes instead of the "old" wifi folder method. I love this feature, as it makes syncing much simpler. However, copying entire folders is not permitted by iTunes at this time; it must be individual files. Do you see this changing in the future? Or is this an Apple decision that must be lived with? (at least for now)

I cannot figure out how to get into the iPhone and transfer video files from the Messages app or for that matter see anything on the iPhone!

I opened the ip address in firefox and still see only the two folders with nothing else to navigate to!

I just remark that in the new version 2.3, supporting Dropbox (GREAT !!) , the folder icon disappear after the Air Sharing Application have connected to the Dropbox server to know how many items are in the folders. See the 2 attachments pictures from the application on my iPhone.
